College Graduate’s Title Loan Story in Rocklin

By Title Loans | July 2, 2009

I got a title loan a few weeks ago from 1-800LoanMart so that I could have enough money while I started working.  I just graduated a few weeks ago from San Jose State, and got a job at a marketing company in Rocklin.  I still have some bills left over from college plus some things I need for my new place that I cannot afford to pay until I start getting some paychecks in.  I decided that I would get a loan to cover my costs while I get my feet wet in the working world.

I was denied a loan from a few banks in Rocklin because none of them are loaning any money out until the economy in California gets better.  I even tried to get a loan from a credit union in town, but they denied me there too.  I decided to go home and look for title loans in California on the Internetbecause my bills were due in a few days.  I looked through several title loan companies in my area and finally decided on 1-800LoanMart to get my title loan.

Unlike a lot of other title loan companies, 1-800LoanMart did not charge a pre-payment penalty fee, and they even let me keep my car while I had my title loan.  All that I had to do to get approved for a title loan at 1-800LoanMart was to give them a copy of my driver’s license, proof that I make at least $1,500 each month, and the title to my car that they would hold as collateral.  Their agent got me approved for a title loan and I ended up getting a check for $7,500.

I had enough money to make it through my first month on my own, and I just paid off the title loan.  I am glad that I chose 1-800LoanMart to get a title loan because they gave me the money that I deserved even when banks and credit unions in Rocklin were not willing to give me a loan.  I will definitely use them in the future if I ever have another cash related need that I can’t afford.
